"For Ezra had set his heart to study the law of the Lord and to practice it, and to teach His statutes and ordinances in Israel." (Ezra 7:10, NASB95) [1]

So, Ezra's passion was to know God and make Him known.  He wanted to know how to live for God, then he wanted to live for God, then he wanted to show others how to live for God.  This verse resonates with my soul, showing me a path to proper love for Him and service to Him.  While I usually do not obey the Master, this verse shows me how to.  It shows me the need to be patient and wait on His timing.  It shows me the need to "know" before I "do", and to "do" before I "teach".  If there is any verse that describes God's purpose for my life, it is this verse.  Most of the time I do not live according that purpose, but this website is my step of faith towards that goal.  It is a small step, but it is better than sitting back and twiddling my thumbs.  Lord, help me serve You with this site.
